I took these pictures of the green dogwood tree that grows next to my parents from door. I love this tree! (I hope you do too!) I am sharing it via Macro Mondays. <--Here is the link. The button is at the bottom. Thanks!
oh that's funny that we both posted dogwoods, they are my favorite! did they just open like within the last day or two? when they completely open up, they will turn a pretty white...they are this greenish/yellow color when they first open....what shall we post next week? lol...have a great day!
Lol! I just said the same thing at your site! When I was in fifth grade we would all call each other the night before and discuss whether we would wear pants or dresses to school the next day. It's like you and I did that with our blogs-haha!
These are lovely! I especially like the second closeup and the last shot. I have two of these in my yard I inherited when we moved here. I only wish they had blooms all summer.
These are a lovely shade of light green...I'm not sure I've seen dog wood blossoms with this shade of color before.
ReplyDeleteI never had either...and the flowers have dark pink tips!

:(. Sorry about the drought. Had one in Florida several years ago..everything died!
DeleteI think the flowers on dogwood's are so nice, a sure sign of warmer weather.
ReplyDeleteI know - part of the beauty of spring flowers is the memories they bring from springs of the past...
DeleteI remember a beautiful spring three years ago in Tampa. We don't have Dogwoods, but some beautiful things bloomed that year.
