The last line of your haiku made me smile! What a thought when applied to a flower!
I just transplanted a peony which belonged to my husband's grandmother. I don't remember what color it is, as it was on her daughter's property and I didn't pay very close attention. But Aunt Bess wanted me to take it, and now she is gone, so I have. I need to go water it now...
For some reason, plants are good reminders of those who are gone. I'm glad you got a laugh out of the haiku. It is supposed to be funny! And, look how they are so full of ruffles that they tip over on their stems :)
I love peony's and I have one like this in our front yard. Since I am here in the Philippines I can't wait to see my pink and white peony's. Awesome shots!
